U.S. News & World Reportのランキング発表
先日、UTからのMonthlyメールにThe University of Texas at Austin’s graduate programs rank among nation’s bestという内容があり、U.S. News & World Report magazine surveyが発表になったことを知る。McCombsは１８位と前回より順位をあげる。たしか前回は20位以下になって、Alumniに対してもその理由と対策を記したメールが直ぐに送られてきた記憶がある。今回はそのような対応は無かったが。
また、下記よようにどの学部も総じてランキング入りしており、総合大学の強みを発揮していることがわかる。

- Pharmacy — 2nd
- Engineering — 12th, tied with Cornell University
- Education — 15th, tied with Indiana University-Bloomington
- Law — 15th, tied with the University of California at Los Angeles
- Business — 18th, tied with Emory University and the University of Washington
